Founder and Principal
Prior to receiving her law degree from University of Auckland, New Zealand, and University of Maine School of Law (magna cum laude), Merritt sailed around the world on the second-ever all women’s team to participate in the Whitbread-Round-the-World Race (now the Volvo Ocean Race). She was also a team member on the first all women’s America’s Cup sailing team, America3. Merritt received her B.A. in American Civilization and History from Brown University and attended Northfield Mount Hermon School. She founded GraffamSolutions in 2003 and has been managing its clients and projects ever since. Merritt brings a lawyer’s keen eye for detail and respect for deadlines together with an adventurer’s ability to improvise when necessary and always keep the big picture in mind. Her project management style is accessible and collaborative.
Merritt also sits on several boards and advisory committees including the African Cultural Foundation. She teaches a section of USM’s Sustainable Business Certificate Program entitled “Social Bottom Line and Social Enterprise”. Merritt lives in Portland, Maine with her three children, husband and yellow lab Shale.

Rebecca Bing brings a great depth of website design experience to GraffamSolutions. Rebecca has been working in the graphic arts and advertising industry since 1990. She moved into web design in 1996 and quickly received recognition for her work. The AIGA nominated one of her websites as "outstanding promotional site of 1997." Since then she has designed hundreds of websites for clients across the globe all of which engage and transport. Rebecca's work reflects her desire to convey the client’s message without sacrificing the design. She has designed websites for a broad range of entities including corporate, nonprofit, consumer, entertainment, and travel.
Charles (Chuck) Drew has a wealth of experience in web development and specializes in E Commerce, Content Management Systems, and user interface design. He developed web based software for the hospitality industry that is currently used by companies such as Howard Johnson. Chuck’s career in as a web developer began while pursuing another passion: triathlons. Chuck started using the internet facilitate the many aspects of triathlons including online registration, marketing, and publishing race results. Before long, he had requests from businesses to develop websites and his career was launched.
